Dyspraxia Awareness

Awareness 2017 was a great success, we shared lots of tips and information on our Facebook page.

Dyspraxia Kids Australia Inc Facebook followers increased in October over 100 new followers.

DCD Developmental Coordination disorder / Dyspraxia awareness starts every day not just in October.

 

What do we do ?

During the awareness month we will post multiple messages each day through our Facebook page and our website blog.

this year we will also use different mediums to reach more people to maximise our awareness.

 

How you can help raise awareness for Dyspraxia (DCD)

2) Invite family, friends and teachers to our Facebook page.

3) Like our messages.

4) Share our messages via Facebook or email

5) Register for Funky Friday and host an awareness event.

Fancy Nance High Tea

in October 2016 Dyspraxia Kids held there first afternoon high tea at the famous Zumbo Fancy Nance Café in South Yarra.

LET US TELL YOU ABOUT DYSPRAXIA

Wednesday night the 31st of August Dyspraxia Kids Australia Inc. hosted its inaugural event, LET US TELL YOU ABOUT DYSPRAXIA, we had 98 attendees for the evening. We had a very broad audience consisting of Parents, Carers, Teachers,  Allied Health Professionals from all over Victoria and some travelled from interstate.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that attended the event. If you didn't fill out a feedback form there is still time to do so, please follow this link to download your feedback form.

What does funky even mean?

 (of music) having or using a strong dance rhythm, in particular that of funk.

Why not have some fun and hold a disco at your local school and get them involved with raising awareness for DCD.
